Yup OnePlus isn't OnePlus anymore it's an Oppo sub brand.

I own a Samsung Galaxy S6 tab and it still works well but I want to switch to a tablet with an LCD display because of my fear of having an amoled burn on the screen. Also, I noticed that after using my tab for online meetings and other work-related stuff I do get dizzy and have headaches afterwards. Seeing the comments here, it is my first time reading about this PWM in oled screens maybe that’s the reason?

cant wait for oppo pad air 2 with dimensity 700
it would be so epic!!!!!!!!!!!! (joke)

little addition: pwm on phones can go lower than 100, most lcd displays dont have pwm but some have from 100 (bad) to thousands. you can google "PWM Ranking" and take a look at notebookcheck ranking 😊

Afterall, LCD is what you can stare for long without burn-in display and headache ( incase, you are sensitive to PWM issue of OLED)

                                  😊

Anonymous, 18 Mar 2023There's no tech enthusiast crying out for lcd display ... moreDear,

If you can try, you will feel why some people argues over LCD display.

OLEDs suffer from PWM flickering issue which deteriote migraine issue or simple headache in many.

LCD too have PWM but it's around 2 to 4 thousand Hertz, hence much safer and usable in contrast to OLED's 400 to 600 range

I hope you can understand our problem.
Smartphones are used to make things easier and enjoyable. However, how one can cherish if something ruining someone's whole day!!
