you have to suffer, 10 Dec 2024why would you want oled on a tablet+1. OLED screens are still hugely problematic, especially with green lines. Also, it's more expensive to repair than the IPS LCD screen panel.

The 7:5 screen aspect ratio is quite interesting as it sits between 4:3 and 3:2. I don't remember the last time we have Android tablet with almost similar screen aspect ratio as the iPad Pro or pre-2020 iPads.

Math wise. 2160x3840 is 8.3MP... How could an 8MP shooter do 4k? Wouldn't it make more sense if it was a 10MP shooter? or remove entirely 4K detail? (or be more specific with the selfie snapper)

Eyaddy, 25 Nov 2024That's a good question Well Huawei tablets has OLED D... moreThe Kirin 9000S is nowhere near the 8350. Even compared to the 8350's predecessor the 9000S gets curb-stomped. 4nm node compared to 7nm, a nearly 50% better Antutu score, a 545% faster GPU according to Geekbench's Compute benchmark, ARM v9 architecture instead of ARM v8, a much lower TDP of 4.8w instead of 7w, and the Kirin is known to turbo up to 17w. In a phone/tablet... without active cooling...

Well Huawei tablets has OLED Displays and the processor in them (kirin 9000S) isn't bad and it is as good as this dimensty 8350
So my conclusion is maybe because they are targeting a certain price range (≈300 euros)
