Oppo Pad Air2 is an affordable tablet with big display and battery

Oppo introduced the Reno11 smartphones today, and we also saw a tablet on stage. Meet the Pad Air2 – a device with a big screen and battery, which is actually the OnePlus Pad Go, renamed for the Chinese market.

Oppo did not reveal the full specs sheet of the Pad Air2 at launch, but we can see it is the same device as the OnePlus tablet without the cool-looking green color. The tablet is an upgrade from the first Pad Air, with its 11.4” LCD and 7:5 ratio. The resolution is 2408 x 1720 pixels, and the 10-bit panel can refresh at up to 90 Hz.

The battery capacity is 8,000 mAh and you get 33W charging.

Oppo is advertising the Pad Air2 as a tablet for the younger audience with its ColorOS for Pad features – there is a customizable taskbar, smart file galleries, and some multi-finger gestures. The tablet is Wi-Fi only.

The tablet has Dolby Atmos sound and four speakers with 86 dB loudness.

Reminds me of cheap tabs from 5 years ago. Similar pricing, similar specs but also better screen tech (oled / S5e). Android tablets have reached that point in their history that move backwards in time. Lol
