Oppo Reno13 in for review

This is the Oppo Reno13, the sidekick to the Pro with a very similar skill set. Both share the 4nm Dimensity 8350 SoC, and both feature a wide and autofocusing 21mm f/2.0 selfie shooter with a 50MP sensor.
We'll talk about the differences in just a minute, but first let's do an unboxing. The Reno13 ships without a charger in the box, but you get an 8A USB cable, which you'll need to get the 80W charging speed. You'd need to supply your own 80W charger and a case too.
The Reno13 series is beautiful - Oppo created a butterfly shadow effect that appears on the rear panel when the phone is directly lit. The panel itself has a tactile finish called a plume texture. Oppo says it achieved it by using grayscale direct-write laser on a textured layer.
What you need to know is that the texture feels unique - it's sort of matte but also sort of glossy. It's pleasant to touch and appealing to the eye.

The Oppo Reno13 is a rare compact-ish phone with a huge battery. Upfront sits a 6.59-inch 120Hz AMOLED with a 1200 nits peak brightness. Inside, there's a potent 5,600mAh battery with 80W charging.
Unlike the Pro, the Oppo Reno13 has a flat display glass.

So what are the differences between the two phones? The Reno13 Pro has a better camera system - the main 50MP camera has a larger sensor, and there's a 50MP 85mm zoom camera, whereas the vanilla model only has an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensor.
The Pro model also adds 200mAh to the battery, and it packs wireless charging. Stay tuned for more!

Oher mid range phones exist with better camera setups in the same price range as this phone. In fact, the moto edge 50 neo offers a much better camera setup at half the price
