Michail, 09 January 2026

The Reno15 series marks Oppo’s first major release on the global stage in 2026, and we managed to get hold of the smallest member in the lineup - the Reno15 Pro Mini, which is also known as the Reno15 Pro in some markets.

Size-wise, Reno15 Pro Mini comes in at just over 151mm tall and 72mm wide, making it about the same dimensions as an iPhone 17 Pro and Google Pixel 10 Pro.

Oppo went with the tried and tested glass back and flat aluminum frame design, but it continued its glass etching experiments by incorporating a glittering ribbon design on the back. Oppo extended the glittery pattern inside the camera island. The unit we got to test out is in the Glacier White color and features a glossy finish.

Thanks to the premium build materials and relatively compact dimensions, Reno15 Pro Mini is great for one-handed usage. It’s also a fair bit lighter than the similarly-sized iPhone and Pixel, coming in at 187 grams.

Reno15 Pro Mini is built around a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel offers slim bezels and a single punch-hole cutout for the 50MP selfie cam. It’s rated at up to 1,800 nits peak local brightness and features Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

The phone is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 chipset, 12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage. You also get a generously sized 6,200 mAh battery supporting 80W fast wired charging, which is awesome considering the limited space inside the device. The software side is covered by ColorOS 16, based on Android 16, complete with Oppo’s AI suite.

In terms of cameras, Oppo went with a 200MP main cam armed with Samsung’s HP5 sensor as well as a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide lens. That’s a pretty versatile setup for a compact phone, and we’re eager to see how it performs in real-life tests.

As an overall package, the Reno15 Pro Mini looks like a great option for those users who want a compact screen, paired with a capable camera setup and a decently sized battery with speedy charging. Oppo Reno15 Pro Mini is expected to go on sale in India from January 13 with a starting price of INR 59,999 ($665).

OVERPRICED DEVICE , no LTPO Display , NFC for name sake ( cant make payments through it) , poor chipset for this price range, VIVO X200 FE is better option in similar price range.
