Just another confusing product from oppo, similar to vivo, realme, xiaomi, redmi, and more. Too many product with similar design for the same segment at the same time

The spec listed is not correct. The main camera is based on 48MP IMX708, f1.7, 1/1/3". Its sensor size is identical to GN1 used in Vivo X50Pro+ at 1/1.3", but with slightly larger pixel size. Its sensor size is larger than the superb 48MP IMX689 (1/1.43") used in Oppo Find X2 Pro. Based on specification alone, IMX708 is likely the 2nd best sensor after IMX700 used in P40 Series.
Oppo Reno4 Pro, along with Vivo X50Pro, is the best SD765G based phone so far, in a class all by itself. The pricing reflects Oppo's confidence in delivering near-flagship user experience without a flagship SoC, in terms of design, finish, build quality, and flagship-worthy photography/Videography capability. Purely in terms of photography, I expect this phone to be competitive against any other phones except those based on a well implemented IMX700.
Its worthiness will be ultimately determined by the market. (If SD865 is used instead of SD765G, you can expect a minimum price increase of $150-200. For Oppo's primarily targeted market, most users are not obsessed with a flagship SoC.) Please don't compare this phone with any other SD765G based phones (Sony, LG, Samsung) which are vastly inferior.

That's very nice price. It is no poco f2 pro but then it is different taste and has better cameras than the poco I bet it has
