Oppo Reno5 F becomes official with MediaTek Helio P95 chipset
The Reno5 F that Oppo teased in Kenya last month has become official today in the country, marking its global debut also.
The Reno5 F comes in two color versions, called Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple. It sports a 6.43" 1080x2400 60Hz flat AMOLED screen with 135Hz touch sampling rate (and 180Hz touch sampling in Game mode) and 800 nits of peak brightness, with an under-display fingerprint sensor.
On the rear there are four cameras, the main snapper being 48 MP f/1.7. There's also a fixed-focus ultrawide with f/2.2 aperture and 119-degree field-of-view, an f/2.4 macro camera, and an f/2.4 "mono camera" for portrait shot enhancement. The selfie snapper is a 32 MP unit with f/2.4 aperture.
At the helm sits MediaTek's Helio P95 chipset, with a 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU, and the phone ships with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. It has a 4,310 mAh battery with 30W VOOC Charge support. The Oppo Reno5 F runs Android 11 with ColorOS 11 on top. Its dimensions are 160.1 x 73.2 x 7.8 mm, and it weighs 172g.
The phone is retailing in Kenya for KES 31,499, which at the current exchange rates translates into approximately $287 or €241. We assume it will reach more markets soon.
