Stay away - FAR away. Honestly the worst phone I have ever used. The battery @ 4500mAh sounds great on paper - you'll be lucky to get half a days worth of use out of it. Coupled with the shockingly deteriorated software, the phone is more useful as a paper weight. The screen is shockingly dim outside, even in minimal light - the camera's are atrocious. I really wanted to phone to be good, Samsung good. But alas, it wasn't. It didn't even come in at a "budget" smartphone price on contract in South Africa - rivalling the likes of the S22+ on a 24 month contract - I really should have stuck with Samsung. I have no idea if the new Oppo's are any good and quite frankly, I will never care to check.

The phone is really fine to me, although not perfect... Still I'm waiting for the official Colors 14 update (not the Beta) in Europe, did anyone received it already? I looked everywhere and noticed a whole lot of people are waiting for it or live in another area. Last update is Colors 13.1 patch november 2023.
The Oppo Reno 7 and 8 (from my son) got the 14 update in March and April??? Weird.

Heating issue in video calls, battery drain issue. highly heats in imo calls and duo calls, battery last only 5 hours in normal usage
