I don't recommend this if you want more quality cam. Compared to Samsung A53-A52 with this, Samsung is better. I can't with the lightning of this phone. It's the same as the quality cam of an 12K-18K phone. Not worth for it's price.

If you keep considering all the negative comments here before you purchase your device, then you wouldn't ever have a choice. The Oppo Reno 8t 5G is superb, and the only downside as for me, is the 4800maH battery. I think they should have done better in that aspect but overall, the phone is awesome!

I just bought the device and these are the points I admired
1- The curved screen, and the resolution are amazing.
2- Device is so light.
3- Software is smooth, and I didn't counter any lags noting that I'm not interested in games.
4- Most of the other devices offer great front cameras, but sacrifice the selfies, and since both are important to me I chose this one, and I admired the feature of not losing the pictures resolution when zooming on it.
For me it's a good choice according to my needs 😊

No one's gonna buy an overpriced phone without ultrawide camera and with Snapdragon 695 unless they don't give a damn about it. I'd rather they sacrifice the curved screen to add the ultrawide lens and improve the processor (or just add 1080p 60fps since the chipset does support it)

Compared with VIVO V27 5G,
V27 so much better in multiple sides:
- Camera
Compared with 108MP rear camera in OPPO, it has super powerful 50MP OIS with Sony IMX766V sensor camera supported with Aura Light, no matter how bright or dark the environment is, capture everything clear with the Aura Light Portrait camera system. And with OIS, no blurred images caused by shaky hands, give you clear, stabilized photos and videos.”
AND for the front camera system it have Auto-focus 50MP front camera! i really love it!
- Performance
Compared with SDM 695 processor, it has the latest 4nm chip, Dimensity 7200, with octa-core and up to 2.8 GHz. Which provides better performance, gaming experience & battery usage with the noticeable gap.
i love this product

I think the best part in the camera is the Portrait Mode in rear cameras. The front camera doesnt live up to the mark. The picture quality from front camera not all that great but rear camera especially portrait mode is great.

Hey, I was a onepus 8 pro 12GB/256GB user. I moved to this Oppo Reno 8T 5G and i m not disappointed with the performance. The OS is closely similar as oxygen OS has literally become Color OS. There is a difference in speed as compared to the snapdragon 865 and this one is snapdragon 695. But im ok with the downgrade. I am super happy with the battery performance as i charge once every morning for 40mins and thats it. overall am happy OPPO is offering 2yrs warranty in this one and 4 yrs on battery unlike my oneplus 8 pro after using 20 months i started getting horizontal green line on the screen followed by 5 more thereafter and since the warranty is only 1 year, It is literally pointless getting screenreplaced for approx $250..

Anonymous, 10 Apr 2023Unfortunately, the Reno8 T has no ultrawide in it.Yes, I see. I really want to upgrade my Oppo A9 2020 but sadly, no android phone can match and compare that model
