I actually had to opt for a cheaper alternative to my OnePlus 8 pro which I used for about 21momths and suddenly green line from top to bottom followed by a purple one. Got the oppo Reno 8T 256GB, quite fluid usage, processor slower than the OP 8Pro but I'm happy with a change. OS is similar to oxygen OS so no much different from before. 2 years warranty on this one and 4yrs on battery which is very much okay with me as I change phone in approx 2yrs time. Overall kinda satisfied

so you paid TOO much for the f-ing back design. that can be covered with silicone cases. some phone brands nowadays no longer provide clear cases in the box. just to save manufacturing cost

That way, they don't have to sp... moreOppo has always spent on their marketing and getting celebrity endorsers, even if you check their past products, they've always been like that. Same with its siblings Vivo and Realme (which started with less marketing and no celebrity endorsers, now spends more on marketing and endorsers). OnePlus same as well, getting Robert Downey Jr before and now Jackson Wang for their Oneplus 11 thereby jacking up the price.
