Oppo Reno 12 in for review

This is the Oppo Reno 12 and it's the slightly watered-down variant of the Reno 12 Pro we hosted last week.

Like that phone, it ships with nothing more than a USB cable in the box.

Upfront, the Reno 12 has the same 6.7-inch 1080p display with 120 Hz refresh rate, but while the Pro has a quad-curved Gorilla Glass Victus 2, the non-Pro has a double-curved Gorilla Glass 7i.

Another area where the Reno 12 differs from the Pro is the storage - 256 GB instead of 512 GB - and the cameras - you get a 2MP macro instead of the 50MP 47mm zoom, and the front camera has a 32MP sensor instead of a 50MP one.

On the upside, the front camera still has a 21mm wide-angle f/2.0 lens and autofocus.

Our Reno 12 unit is the Astro Silver model and it has the same flowy curtain design as the Pro model. It's an eye-catching design that's no surprise in Oppo's design-centric Reno series.

That's all the time we have for now - check in soon for more on the Reno 12.

Garbage lol.. RM2,599 for the Pro variant with Dimensity 7300?! Why not I just get the Honor 200 Pro (12/512) RM2,700 or Realme GT 6 (12/256) RM2,600 or even the Poco F6 (12/512) RM2,000 which all 3 come with Snapdragon 8s Gen ...
