Oppo Reno3 to come with a punch hole display

Sagar, 27 November 2019

The Reno series smartphones that Oppo has launched so far come with notched screens or elevating selfie cameras, but it looks like the Reno3 arriving next month will sport a punch hole display.

An alleged screenshot of the Reno3 that leaked out of China has empty space at the top on the left side, suggesting the smartphone's display will have a hole in the top-left corner.

We are unable to verify the authenticity of the image so don't take it for a done deal. Still, if it's legit it shows the Reno3 coming with dual-mode 5G - a feature the company confirmed at the launch of ColorOS 7 in China last week.

Oppo Reno 3 might come with a punch hole display

An alleged specs sheet of the Reno3 leaked earlier this month revealed the smartphone will be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 735 SoC which will be paired with 8GB RAM and come in two storage options - 128GB and 256GB.

The smartphone will feature a 6.5" FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED screen and it will pack a 4,500 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

The Reno3 will also have a 32MP selfie snapper along with a quad camera setup on the back with a 60MP primary sensor.

Poor Huawei. They're the modern innovator of the camera island bump (Huawei Mate 20) but the rest copied Apple's offcenter island instead of Huawei's middle island.

Those who r saying chinese maker copy samsung they r just good for nothing...teardrop notch first used by oppo F9 than every other company follow that, indisplay fingerprint first used by vivo nex, than other company following that, pop up camera intro...

Also same case with Apple. New camera bump (iPhone 11) and other manufacturers are copying it relentlessly.
