Oppo Reno Ace 2 official renders surface online
The Oppo Reno Ace 2 is expected to arrive on April 13 and we already have a pretty solid idea of what to expect thanks to a TENAA listing. It will adopt the 65W Super VOOC 2.0 fast charging from the Reno Ace, but this time it will have mind-blowing 40W wireless fast-charging capabilities.
The phone is now listed at JD.com, and the Chinese retailer uploaded the official renders of the phone, revealing at least two colors and three memory options.
The Reno Ace 2 is coming with a Snapdragon 865 chipset, accompanied by a 5G modem. The memory combinations will be 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB, and 12/256 GB per the listing. There isn’t anything official yet on the cameras, but according to TENAA, the main camera on the back will have a 48MP sensor and it will be joined an 8MP cam (likely an ultra-wide-angle one), and two 2 MP additional depth and macro sensors.
The biggest unknowns about the phone are the price and the availability. The first Reno Ace started from CNY2,999 ($422) and went up to CNY3,799 ($534), but it remained exclusive to China, so here’s to our hopes that it would be different this time.
