Oppo Reno Ace latest leaks show design and SuperVOOC 2.0 charging speeds
Oppo is set to announce the new Reno Ace on October 10 and a set of new live shots give us our best look at the device as well as its fast charging capabilities. The device will pack flagship components like a 90 Hz display and Snapdragon 855+ chipset alongside the new 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging.
The Reno Ace will come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch on the front for its 16MP selfie cam. The screen refresh-rate will be set to 90Hz and we’ll also see an in-display fingerprint solution. Going around the back we see the vertically aligned quad-camera setup with a 48MP F/1.7 main shooter. The other three sensors are a 13MP F/2.4 telephoto, 8MP F/2.2 ultrawide and 2MP depth helper. The bezels appear more toned down than previous Reno offerings.
Taking a look at the phone’s charging capabilities, we see that the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 is capable of going from 15% to 16% in just 10 seconds. Other screenshots show that the charging solution can reach 75% in just 25 minutes which is quite impressive. Keep in mind that the Reno Ace is packing a 4,000 mAh battery.
In addition to the design and SuperVOOC 2.0 leaks, Oppo VP Brian Shen confirmed that the Reno Ace will also be available in a limited Gundam Edition. Back in May, there was talk of an exclusive Gundam edition phone hitting markets soon but that never quite came into reality.

USB 3.2 Type-C offers 100W (20V, 5A) so PSU supporting these new "standards" of charging are sill interior to the real STANDARD which defines USB 3.2. So why do we need SuperVOOC 2.0 for, if USB 3.2 is much more?
