Here's the Oukitel OT5 with 12" 2K display and 11,000 mAh battery

Last week, we shared images and specs of the Oukitel WP30 Pro rugged smartphone that will be announced in the first half of November 2023. But that's not the only product Oukitel will introduce next month since the brand will also unveil a new tablet, dubbed Oukitel OT5.

The Oukitel OT5 will have the Helio G99 SoC at the helm with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage onboard. The tablet will run Android 13 out of the box, but it's unclear how many OS version upgrades and software updates it will receive.

The Oukitel OT5 will feature a 12" 2K LCD and pack an 11,000 mAh battery with 18W charging. It will sport a 5MP selfie camera on the front, and around the back will be a 16MP primary camera joined by a 2MP macro unit.

The OT5 will come in three colors, and the images we received confirm support for the stylus and keyboard, which will be sold separately. The tablet will also have a USB-C port at the bottom, flanked by two speakers, with the other two placed on the top-side frame. A volume rocker and an accented power button will be on its right side.

We are told the Oukitel OT5 is "a tablet for fun and study," and it will be 7.5mm thick. Its weight remains unknown, though.

The OT5 will be launched in mid-November with a premiere sale price of less than $200 (€190/INR16,650).

Nit picking. Pun- how bright is it? This is a content consumption device. Period. Decent display. Large enough for two to watch. Use the money saved for real life socializing. It's just 2-D. Same as iPad
