Overwatch goes free for a weekend

Prasad, 18 November 2016

Popular multi-player FPS game Overwatch will be available for free this weekend. The game will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Starting November 18, 11:00AM PST to November 21, 4:00PM PST, the game will be available for free on all three platforms. You can play it for free on the PC but on the consoles you will need either Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus subscription in order to play.

During the duration of the free period, all the content, characters, and features of the game will be available to the players. Any progress you make during the free period will be saved to your account and will be carried forward should you choose to purchase the game after the free period ends, as long as you use the same login ID. Unfortunately, the game is not cross-platform, so you will only be able to play with other players on the same platform.
