OxygenOS Open Beta 6 out now for OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro
The latest OxygenOS Open Beta for OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro brings a ton of system optimizations, a daily activity counter similar to Google’s Digital Wellbeing called Dock and optimizations to the Weather app, Gaming Space and Gallery. The update comes in at 185MB and also carries the latest January security patch.
The changelog also claims Bluetooth connectivity to smartwatches has been improved. The layout of the cloud service interface in the Gallery is also overhauled. Check out the full OxygenOS Open Beta 6 changelog below.

- Optimized the layout of the cloud service interface in the Gallery for a better operation experience

- Improved the transmission rate of Bluetooth when connecting watches

The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro already supports sub-6GHz 5G connectivity. The thing you need for 5G is the modem in your phone to support it, and not software, so non-5G phones won't be getting 5G just through an update.
