The idea is great. Execution has more negatives than I'd pay $350 for. If they had a more efficient and powerful processor, higher resolution OLED screen, bigger battery, and could switch between being a companion phone and a standalone, that would justify this price and a little more. For a cherry on top, I'd want it to be rooted fairly easy and expandable storage. All that should be more than manageable, but I doubt it'll ever happen.

I really hoped mine would work with a usb c headphone adapter. But it is blocked by this crippled Verizon software on it. Here in Germany I use it with a O2 4G Sim and it works perfectly on 3G but it is never ever switching to 4G.
Generally 4G should be more compatible all over the world. Again I suspect the software..

Currently it is selling on eBay for $85.
Since I followed this phone from day one, I had to grab one.
It is really nice, but the software is a big pain.
I tried things over ADB and different root solutions but no success yet.
There is not even a thread on XDA. LineageOS would be a dream.

i had swallowed that it has no headphone jack
even that the battery life is shit due to the 28 nm processor, the tiny battery and no induction charging.
But 562€ (incl 24 month 2gb plan)?????? wtf is wrong with you??
The absolute maximum i'd pay for this is 280€

COME ON PALM!! If you want it to sell then: About same size. Bigger battery. Better processor (helps a lot with the battery life) and a REASONABLE PRICE. The price for even as suggested model 220 to 260 euros MAX!!! THEN IT WOULD SELL!!!!! Way too many huge slabs on the market.

Specs sound really nice, especially the small size and the Aluminum frame.
Although +1mm thickness for more battery capacity as well as a 3.5mm audio jack would have been nice.. maybe with Palm v2 we will get "the perfect phone" ;)
