hope it works well for you,kevin.you can also check out treo forums such as www.treocentral.com www.mytreo.net and such.those forums have the latest useful info,opinions etc on any of the treo phones

thanks for the link! i downloaded the fixx and it completley changed my perception of the phone, the battery was driving me nuts but now its going great!!!!

kevin battery fix is right here http://www.palm.com/680cameraupdate it fixes the battery through camera upgrade,cuz camera application was found to be faulty

i loaded a battery fix from palm.com and the battery lasts for 2 days easily,with heavy phone use and web browsing as well as txt messaging.I have this phone for over 2 months now and cant say a bad word about it.yeah,it lacks wifi,mpix cam and bluetooth 2.0,but I cant use any other phone and OS platform other than PALM.I used to have a $1000 imate jasjam running on winblows 5.0 and that thing almost flew out of my window thats how much I hated this junk.thank god I sold it and got my money back.

Got this phone last week, Lots of good features, but the phone is going back for the lack of battey life, I charge it over night daily, I used it for about 2 hours a day and the battery dies. This is not acceptable for a phone that cost over $300.
Do yourself a favor and pass up this phone.

I just upgraded from the treo 650 and right away noticed how much of delayed response I get from navigating around.Where the 650 was 3x faster.Also, the battery goes dead way too quickly. While the smaller size is a plus, as well as the the absence of that annoying antenna. In all, I went from loving the treo to I can honestly say that Ill be taking this back...

Bad PDA phone I ever seen this season, with a repectable name of "Palm" making this expensive PDA phone is quite dissapointing.
old features that are seen before, bad battery life and expensive price. I say you only pay for the name "Palm" here.
You better go with the Asus P525 or even other brands.

If u are using Palm to download email, pls stop it.. This is very important and urgently..
After u download email into your palm, it would not be download into your desktop anymore... U will miss many email..
This is confirmed info. Palm already confirmed this point. Before they solve this problem, pls do think about it before u buy..

I have a Palmm Treo 680 and I've downloaded and converted songs to use as my ring tones. I've set certain songs for certain callers however, these songs don't play when the phone rings. It plays a song that I don't have set anywhere. Can anyone help?
Also, when I'm on a call and the phone rings, I do get the beep sound indicating a call coming in however it also rings! This hurts! I try to get to it and hit ignore but sometimes miss it. What am I doing wrong.? Thanks.

Miss_c, it should be a good phone. Documents to go settled the syncronic problem off cause it still do not such good like window.
Email sync also better much then 650.
But, it will will some inconvineance then 650 as below:
1. Do not have disconnect menu in versa mail, after u done the down load, u have to go to pref, network, and disconnect.. its quite truoblesome//
2. this is terible, after down load email, we can't able to down load again in desktop.. confirmed with palm, this is not setting problem, this is the original..
3. Battery so so ok..
4. size is ok for me. if u don't mind for bigger size then it should be ok..
