This was my brother's phone. It is synchronised to his Mac, but I use a PC. I have the disk, but the PC doesn't seem able to read it; I'm on Windows 7. Does anyone know what I can do?

I am having the SAME problem! You need to update the sims card! Go to AT&T and ask them for a new sims card it should be free for your first one at least! I have a cingular card still I'm updating to ATT card tomorrow! Hope this helps

for me this phone has it all..the most simple phones i ever had..this one time, a few month ago, i was soaked with tank water and all of my belonging was damage but the phone still functional.
but now, i was irritated because the battery wont charge. can anyone recommend how to fix it.?

I have a Palm centro model. with in warranty period this is the second phone, palm has replaced new one. Palm centro handset voice is not clear, more over with in 40sec or 120 seconds call got disconnected. Now palm is suggesting to replace treo 680model. Need input on Treo 680

I'm allso using this treo, i like the shape, it,s not too big like any other PDa's, comfortable in my palm. the only problem is the battery life which is too short, and the replacepent battery is not so easy to find. but what i like the most is that treo is not something i can compare with any other phone, especially blackberry, oo many people use it. i love my treo cause not many people have it, the qwerty keyboard is a briliant idea. palm is pioneer, others just follows.

I have a treo 680 an it's not working properly it cannot read the sim card anymore. So whatever sim i put into it doesn't recognize it and it tell me that there's no sim card inserted. So anyone Knows what should I do?

Anybody knows where we can buy a battery. Life of my battery is not working properly anymore. The battery even fully charged is good only for less than a day (I tested no usage at all the whole day from 7:00am to 7:00pm and the battery is already drained). Thanks for the help.

Hi there, unit is great though it lacks some of the features like wifi, pocketie BUT despite of the mentioned features not incorporated in the treo680, one of the best phones ever. mp3 files can't be cropped and when you use the built-in tones for your personal interests, then there's no life in it BUT once you are able to download the converter, then life is never the same again:)...
..Just be patient in searching for the right applications for the unit, it's really worth the wait guys!!(",)

I recieved 680 as insurance replacement for 650 but for the battery life i was satified. recently I have been searching for a replacement for business phone for my moble repair service but it seems no one is concern about a good business app then I stumbed upon ultimate phone for palm os with its numerous start screen opions I chose the last 20 opion which access a right hand menu that allows you to create a menu, task, sim, email, or calender event thus breathing new life into my 680

so im going to purchase a palm treo 680.. i hear that the battery isnt that good? how long exactly does the battery goes low? and is there anything bad/good about the palm 680 comparing to other similar phones?

i have never been satisfied with any mobile phone other than the treo 680. in fact, even when i lost my first one, i immediately bought a new one. i'm happy with it except for the battery life..
