It will support data only.
No Voice Over LTE (VoLTE) - i.e. you wont be able to make / receive calls or SMS using Jio SIM

I also have this phone, nd its working superb. I dont found any prob as u mentioned above in your comment.
1: about battery life: it is normal depending on how much u use an android phone. Neighter good nor Bad.
2:thts the problem anyone can face.. Try to connect with PC via USB Mass storage. Check this http://www.device-recovery.com/how-to-connect-android-devices-to-pc-with-usb-mass-storage-mode
3:that is the issue every phone have. Some are less heated and some are more. I also saw sometime my phone is heating up right but it is due to much usage of phone. If i used it very long time it may heated up ofcourse. It is depending upon how long u use ur phone.
4:try updating google map service. Nd get some app to get rid of this prob.

I have bought this phone several months ago. This is the worst mobile I ever had.
1. Worst battery life
2. Problem during connecting with PCs with USB
3. Heating Problem
4. You can not use navigation system properly. It does not have tool which is used by compass.
5. Bugs problems
6. It charges very slow.
7. Earphones with it does not work properly.
8. You can not install many apps on it because it is not compatible
