I bought this phone when it very first came out. Ever since then, I have purchased 2 more for my friends. I love the phone and like everything about it. It could use a few more colors but even at the amount of colors it has, it is pretty clear. I think it is very unique and always an eyecatcher. Have not had any of my 3 phones freeze up and have not had problems with battery life. I did at first have difficulties with the WAP configuration but figured it all out with the aid of my cellular provider, AT&T and Cingular. Definitely would recommend to people who want a unique phone with a small price tag. Doesn't have the top-of-the-line features, but you can't expect to get the best phone for under $100.

I just got the G51. The silver one. Does it really have a really bad battery life and will it freeze easily? Please help because I only have 2 weeks to return it and I don't want to buy the wrong phone.
Thanks Guys & Gurls!

I work for a wireless provider and anytime it requests a puk code you have to go down to the carrier and have them unlock it for you. They need the # of your sim card in order to do it! either that or get a new sim. Sometimes this will happen when you enter too many of the wrong passwords.

The phone looks great, and I love the lighted keypad! Recently I was playing around with my phone and I set a PIN for it. After setting the PIN, it asked me for the PUK. Now since I've set a PIN for my phone, everytime I turn it on it asks for the PIN, then the PUK. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT "PUK" STANDS FOR? I never set any PUK number. PLEASE HELP AS I can't turn on my phone anymore!!! :(
Thank u so much!!!

Hi, Nice little phone, does the job.
Got it unlocked for US with T-mobile SIM. Works a charm EXCEPT I can only ever get Cingular roaming. I have selected the right frequency band, but it never goes over to T-mobile. T-mobile support can even pick up the IMEI but it never registers.
Someone mentioned, that they got it working with T-mobile after changing some factory settings. Can you please post these. Thanks

This phone is great for size but that's about it. Terrible reception problems, poor battery life and limited extras. Would not recommend this phone unless you don't use one much.
Cheers

Love the designbut it's very fragile. The first one I got has no sound what-so-ever. Send it back to get a new one. Works great till a month later when the screen went blank. It came back another month later. Used for another two more months, dropped it on carpeted floor and the screen went again. Still not coming back yet. My Nokia 6100 had taken much more abuse than this and had worked great till its antenna got chewed up by a puppy. Since I am such a sucker for its style and size. I am probably giving it another chance...

i think cell phone should be what is it. a phone. camera and all other crap on the phone are pretty useless to me. this is a good choice for a basic phone. everything works well except the battery life is short and the ear phone is not very loud(i drive a convertible). my phone has just been through a wash cycle in the washing mechine and it still works..this phone kicks ass

This phone is neat for the sizr only, the features on it are about as limited as a nokia 3595. Poor reception and screen too bad display. BUt better then the Panasonic X300.

this has got to be the biggest piece of crap phone that i have ever bought in my life! no reception... ANYWHERE! I've tried it in USA- Miami, Washington DC, and in Spain... and it NEVER has any signal.. and it's not the provider... i do not recommend at all!! (not kidding either)
