i have this phone for about 10 days... and im pretty happy with it... its lightweight , small enough for me... and looks cool... i have the white version of gd68... the problem is indeed the baterry... it last around 3,5 - 4 days in standby... but its drains fast if u are playing with the phone a lot...another weird part is the back of the phone with those pieces of "paper" that u insert... bleah... cute but useless... i prefer keeping the paper reversed so its white on the outside... :) i dont care about downloadable ring tones games wallpaper so the lack of them doesnt bother me... overall is a good phone and stylish...

eternalsinx, somehow getting in touch with a good panasonic dealer might be the key.. I found out about it from a chap in Slovakia i think. It took quite awhile for him to get a company to do it . I dont even know if its possible in the US.

A good phone with some limitations, such as no good ringer volume for polyphonic tones. Not worth for the cost !!

I tried different brands over the years and I can only say that if you want a good, reliable phone with the basic features you need, a Panasonic is the best choice. Although there are some models in the product line-up which are not as good as the others (compare a GD67 to a GD75), a Pana is still the best in quality! Even Nokia can't compete with Panasonic and I can know it! If all that matters to you are ringtones and logos, you should try another toy.

the current(set in) & downloaded(panasonicbox) polyphonic music sounds better than most of other phone's polyphonic music i.e. t68 and nokia 6100 & 6610. heard it wif my own ears

Believe it or not, a Panasonic survives even a fall in the toilet! I've seen it with my own eyes!

This phone is not very good. It has short battery life and it doesn't have SMS character counter, so you have big trouble writing sms which is close to 160 characters but not over it.

If you're a Belgian customer, you can download ringtones and logos for your Panasonic thanks to the mobile operator Mobistar. Almost all Panasonic models from the latest generation (to start with GD75) are compatible. Check your local operator to see if he does the same. The service is provided by the same operator with Panasonic, Digiplug.
