Overall, it is a dececnt phone. I especially like
the large capacity display for SMS. Can position
the cursor anywhere without scrolling over every
character. Very disappointed that I can NOT edit
last dialed or rcv or missed numbers without
backspacing (clearing) . Those 14 digit numbers
are hard to remember if you have to pre-pend
something to the beginning! Also can not use a
number that is embedded in SMS text. Lastly, there
is no microphoine mute.. The mute I can probably
do without. But the number editing is an obvious
ommision. makes it impossible to correct a wrong
dialed number without retyping! Wha t a a shame.

Please answer. I'm interested in buying it: Does GD95 support multi-field contacts (name/phone1/phone2/email etc) on phone memory instead of name/number on SIM? Does GD95 save SMS messages on SIM or in phone memory? Is the number of SMS messages limited by the SIM capacity or it stores SMSs in internal memory?
Thank you...

This phone is at US$90 when i sign 2 year contract . I mean the price is available in singapore . The screen is really glass ? I am owning a 8310 now . Find this phone really looks special . Byt the way , GD 92 does rulez here during the year 2000 but 93 isnt welcomed . GD95 also the same , its not selling but i personally find it a gd product. Almost 80% pple is carrying a Nokia here .

I used to have a GD90 once-I loved it to bits. That thing took some battering I can tell ya-so I'm really looking forward to this one. PLEASE can anyone tell me the cheapest place (or internet site) in UK, to get one on PAYG, or ideally without a SIM. Cheers.

can i say im surprised that other phone users do not carry hands free features on their phones. Panasonic seems to be the only leading manufacturer that do this is why i have always chosen a panasonic over the past 5 years, even though friends still think nokia are better.
thanks

for matsushita, panasonic mobile phones is a little division.they are absolute leaders in dvd :dvd movie camera, dvd home deck recorder, dvd audio for car-audio.however,gd95 is more professional than any nokia(except communicator)and gd75 is more tasteful than 8310-very ugly.all nokia phones has big prolems with:diplay, software, battery contact.they are shutting down sometimes with any explanation, are fragile at soft drops.anyway,in japan, the best phones and equipement for ntt-docomo and 3g-umts are panasonic.like nokia and ericsson in europe and motorola in usa.respect panasonic! solid phones, cheap, tasteful from the biggest name in elctronics

Amazing 11-line display! One glance show all the WAP contents! Very light too! However, I realise now that the joystick is very hard to navigate quickly, unlike buttoned versions which you can press repeatedly. Also, when your phone is locked, it is easily unlocked by pressing the joystick twice, so even if you lock your phone, there are chances that you can unlock it accidentally. WAP software is much faster than many other existing WAP phones.
