I receiced this handset some 48 hrs back. Will provide a short review. First, my requirements - Budget phone, something more than quadcore, something more than 5 inch, good sharp screen atleast 720p. Now the review. Looks-great, head turning, fantastic colours onscreen, back leatherette, huge screen but slim phone, hardly a cm or two over than my old gionee dream d1 with 4.7 inch screen. UI-i am big fan of nova launcher prime, replaced stock ui with nova, so no comments on ui. however screens of calling, sms look too good, nice green colour theme, each and every part of the theme & desktop is customizable. Video playback-the best i have ever seen till now, unique motion enhancing feature, feels as if you are watching a live recording of an hd video.Audio-good deep heavy bass, equalizer present with bass booster & 3d & reverb effect. Calling-is a charm. call & sms icon displayed beside each contact in contact list, so no need to open individual contact. Messaging-too good, folder mode & chat mode, message can be swiped on to next by a flick, no need to go back to inbox everytime to read next message.Hanging issues-not a single. Cost- effective at 14500 from amazon. Problems till now-1. could not connect usb mass storage,2. camera not as crisp as my 8 mp gionee dream d1,3. nothing else. End result - VERY VERY Satisfied.

i am using this panasonic p 81 mobile for last 1 month 13 days .the performance is excellent.it is very slim and light weight,super fast, state of the art customisation is possible.battery lasts for a day and 8 hours on a single charge.no heating problem at all.camera is good,front camera is excellent,video rec camera is superb.no issues of hanging.superb work by panasonic,i love my p 81.fully satisfied with my handset.display is awesome,its a beauty

Its a very good phonei have been using this phone for a month now. Working is very good. Preinsataaled apps like powersaver music cafe are also good camera works superb in good light there may be a bit problem in low light imaging. The way it shows contacts is also very good.you can play video almost in any format in hd.
It is value for money as games and apps run good due to octacore processor and u must buy its from amazon or snapdeal coz its cheapr ovr thr

Its a nice mobile.. i can say one of the best which i used till now... very smooth and nice functioning,.. camera is good.. not like samsung ..but not bad too... the best thing is even though it is having 5.5 inches screen its very thin and leather like back finishing is ice on the cake ..Looks sexy in hand.. believe me its very fast.. i was very confused between this and grand 2 but finally i hv chosen this one bcoz my team mate already hv grand 2 and its same as like my previous Grand mobile leaving some random features.Other best thing is battery life which is superb...easily last whole day on a full charge.. if u hv a budget around 18-20 u can blindly go for it..

I am using P81 black mobile. This is very good phone, there is no problem at this time. Camera picture is very good. This is very good phone in low range. The speed is very fast due to octa core processor. All the best for the new purchaser.

I am using this mobile for last two and half months and I can say it's a very good mobile. Bought it for rs 17800 from Bihar. Mobile is ultra fast due to octacore processor. Doing 3g net and games very fast and smooth. No lag of any kind. Camera very good both for pic and video. Earlier was using karbonn titanium plus. p81 has very crisp and bright screen ideal for reading books, playing games, and doing net. I highly recommend this mobile. Believe me its far better than cheap Chinese brands like xiaomi. It is a Japanese masterpiece. Any application can be opened directly from lockscreen by drawing gestures. It works very well. Was confused between P81 and Grand 2 but I think my decision was correct.

It's really a nice mobile.its not over priced as mobile comes with quality parts and can not be compared with Micromax, Karbon etc as people are doing.The cell has zero issues unlike Micromax, Karbon mobiles.

Just bought a P81 black. Both the SIM slot are for normal SIM and not micro SIM. Called the toll free no. on 1800 102 8989. They also confirmed that normal SIMs have to be used..
