Better go and upgrade your firmware. The latest to date I think is VF_14.
To check firmware version, off and on the phone then quickly type *#9999# .
Chinese inputs are pre-installed in VS2 so logically there's no problem.

Sorry man, it's impossible to replace the casing by yourself for all I've known. Return it to the service center and let them do the job for you.
Painting is possible, but colors may be not as even as you would expect.

I need help to upload SMS written in Chinese.
After uploading, I could not see the chinese charcters in the computer.
Do I need Chinese software, mine is running on XP.

Erm is it possible to replace the phone casing? as the paint on my vs2 got scratch off a part when i fell down.

I hav a motorola e770v 3g fone but i need a flip one so the screen doesn't get scratched wen its in my pockt. I hav been thinking about buying this one for a while and realize its downgrading but now i have read some of the comments i don't know what to do? I don't use 3g much and this phone looks quite good. HELP! I don't know what one to get!

Of course the best among the 3 is the the SE V800!Cos Vs2 is not so good as i hav oreadi said at the last review i written.The panasonic Vs2 hav only 1 min of video record and it is VGA quality(I tink that it is the same for Vs7).

i had tis fone for about a month oreadi, i abit regretted for not buying SE K700i or motorola E1.
PROs:
-millions of colours display
-macro lens
-quite fun sonic game
-acceptable memory space
-slim and light
-one push auto open
CONs:
-recording time only 1 min(max)
-no bluetooth
-boring soccer game
-no external display
-sound recording is only up to 3 min(max)
-camera no flash
i would grade this fone 6/10.

Hi Mia, I found the File Manager now, but cannot open or extend the Handset icon. Also, at bottom, always display connection interrupted when the phone is pointing at the IrDA.

Singtel don provide the USB cable in the package. I have not asked local Panasonic.
