Keat: the building quality of Sonyericsson K750i is much better than the Panasonic VS series. I had a VS6 for a few weeks and found out that it has so his problems. But what do you expect from a phone with these specs for less then 240Eur (250 dollar) new. The used plastics are very thin and gives it a cheap feeling and look. The 16,7colors screen is great but that's all. The 2.0mp camera is not so good as Samsung D600 or SE k750i.

I've played around with this phone and the options/features this phone has is great actually, i like the camera. Good quality.
But the phone is too bulky for me. Couldn't they have made it smaller and a bit more attractive ?

I bought this phone today and I am kinda not too sure if I want to keep it. I think the phone is kinda too big. I am thinking about spending $30 more and exchanging it for the Samsung SGH-e635. Do you guys think I should do it? Which is better?

It would have been nice if this phone had FM radio, MMC expandable card and perhaps 3G. Does the 16M colors noticablee versus the 262,000 colors of Samsung mobiles?

Hi I am thinking of purchasing this VS7 handset soon.....but my concern is that it does not have good sound quality. I had Panasonic GD88, I liked it but I could never hear the voices of the people talking to me on the phone well, especially in noisy streets....and the volume of the ringtones, I could never hear my phone ring. My friends (VS3 users) and people working in mobile phone stores tell me that all panasonic handsets are like that, is there anything we can do to change that or do you guys have any problems with the sound volume of your VS7 handset??? (Voice volume during conversation and ringtones)

this could have better sales if it had mini SD slot and auto focus function on camera! i know panasonic can do it, i just dont know y dey didn't! Panasonic P505iS has memory expansion slot and was available way back last Nov 2003, and as far as i know it's the first mobile phone to have auto-focus function not to mention it has CCD sensor! mind you it has QVGA display already even way back then, so i don't really see d point y panasonic has sorted to come up with the V, SA & MX series that does not have an expansion for memory. (good work on the battery though) here's the link.

bad news (well at least for panasonic fans) for the time being but in the very near future (i hope this year) panasonic mobile will be much better! please see below..
panasonic has closed a number of their major plants that manufactures (2.5 G) GSM mobile handsets around the world and going forward to reorganized overseas mobile operations and concentrate mainly on 3G handsets with Linux based OS! as a result, (if i remember correctly) soon they will not be a series60 licensee anymore, meaning they may no longer make handsets based on symbian OS like the excellently designed X700 in the future.. reasons said were due to severe global competition. here's the full story:

I have the same problem with the color of the xchangeable cover. I like white faceplate rather than the ones that come with the phone!! I really hate the silver one with the stupid design on it..
Please help!
Does anyone know where to buy the "Xchangeable" covers online?
