-Sound quality is the best of all cellular phones (even better than on Nokias)and as great as on my old Panasonic x300. X300 and VS7 have very good bass and loud, smooth, clear sound.
-Batterry life is decent (3 days standby and about 4 hours talk time)
-Ringer sound and ring tones are of exceptional quality (again just like on x300)
Loud, smooth beautiful and clear ring tones
(This is a general Panasonic brand!)
-Reception is normal (like on all phones it depends on the carrier)
Over all it a 5++++ star phone
Excellence of Panasonic x300 but with improved design, excellent camera, and slightly better battery life)

For those who have the phone:
- How is the earpiece volume?
- How is the ringer volume?
- How is signal?
- How is battery life?
Thanks for your time in posting!

Mini Sd?
Mini Sd?
Mini Sd?
Mini Sd?
Mini Sd?
How many times will you ask this stupid question? There is no Mini Sd and it sais clearly in the phone's Specs!
32mb of internal memory is enough!
This phone does not have an optical zoom or some other camera's features. That is why to take 30-50 photos is more than enough for this phone.
And yes, this one is the most beautiful, durable and reasonabel phone! The only camera phone that is slightly better than this phone is Sharp 903 (due to its optical zoom, and 3mp resolution)which has your favorite Mini Sd.
So if you need Mini Sd, then buy a Sharp903
which is also a great durable phone!

VS7's speaker is loud, but speakerphone isn't. It's really hard to hear the other person unless you turn the phone around where its speaker is located.
I also use t-mobile USA and i live in So Cal. The reception is great, plus the internet works, so that's a plus. hope this helps

one more thing, the PC software (which you can download from panasonic website if you don't have it), is very beautiful and easy to use. I use the cable more than the bluetooth. Great job Panasonic!!

I have been using the VS7 for about 2 weeks now. My personal opinion of the phone is that it's a very good looking phone with a good amount of features. Also great built and quality, above average camera (you really have to learn to take the pictures with this phone though...), ok quality mp3 player, beautiful screen, great reception (T-mobile USA), and once again, REALLY BEAUTIFUL phone. The USB cable depends on where your phone is from. In my case, my VS7 is from somewhere in india, and i don't have the usb cable and software, but i have the blue stripe faceplate. The VS7 from China or possibly other places have the usb and software, but have the red squares faceplate instead. The phone works perfectly with T-mobile Web. The included headset isn't that good for listening to music, but is very sufficient for talking. Bluetooth works fine, transfer files, headset, all works fine. infra-red is very useful and overall performance is great. User interface is SUPERB! I love it so much more than Sharp's and Sony Ericsson's. No lag, easy to use, straight-forward and efficient. Anymore questons you can ask me. I
l'll try to help you if i can.

hey guys,
Stan the reception on the phone's pretty good. I think it's pretty much on par with my Nokia and Samsung phones i've had in the past and slightly better than my Sony Ericsson K750i.
The BlueTooth connectivity is a mixed bag, i've had trouble transfering files across to and from it but i've figured out a way to do it now so it's all good.
For those of you who want to kno the VS7 needs your BT stack on your PC to support "OBEX File Push" Profile for file transfer so you have to send the file to the PC from the phone, you cannot just "browse" the phones files like you can on the Sony Ericsson mobiles.
As for transfering to the phone via BT i haven't tried that yet as i transfered small wallpapers via IR on my PDA to the phone.
I haven't tried PC sync yet so i can't tell you sorry.
But it works well with my Sony Ericsson Akono HBH-660 BT headset, very clear and have had no problems with it so far. Just pair the devices together and connect to the headset and away you go.
Unfortunately it does't come with a USB cable (well i didn't get one), so you have to go buy it seperately but i haven't seen any retailers stock this as yet. So i've been transfering my pictures via BT.
Gone Mad to answer your question about "photo call" did you mean like caller ID with a picture of someone that you've assigned to the number? if so then yes the VS7 has photo call. if this isn't what you mean please tell me and i'll be happy to answer any other questions you might have if i can.

So i'm really looking into this one....
How is the reception as stated before? How is the bluetooth connectivity? Good with pc sync? What about headsets? That's my biggest feature that i want is bluetooth.. How's the bluetooth interface?
Thanks for posting those pictures...looks nice. Does it come with a USB cable? How have you guys been transferring these pictures? USB or Bluetooth?
Thanks for any responses.

First of all big thanks to "Friendly" guy who posted so much useful information about Panasonic's digital technology.
Secondly, big thanks to "Majestic" for showing us photos.
The photo of the sky and then the photo of a green flower show how sharp and color truthful Panasonic's camera is.

NOW I'm really Mad!!!!
I didn;t ask you guys to give me Chinese links. Also, there is only one photo of a kid's toy!
You kids, claim that you have the VS7.
So what's up with Chinese links then?!
What's a matter? You are so selfish that you couldn't create a free, simple homepage and upload the photos taken by VS7 and show it to us?
That's why I already know, most of you are B.S. us, cause you don't have a VS7 phone.
Period!

Oh, forgot to mention.
After all these innovations, Panasonic will without any doubt create an optical zoom for Mobile cameras with a real flash ( just give them one year, and you will see by 2007 Panasonic will release a total replacement for 3mp, 4mp, 5mp digital cameras ).
Just remember Panasonic takes things slowly and reasonably. That is the main reason why vs7 totally answers to its features! (because not overloaded like Nokia , Samsung or Sony.)
