I'm not impressed. I was sold this as a £300 phone for just £105 total over 12 months.
But think its worth more like £50!
Yes its a nokia 6600 but that was reliable and this just isn't.
The keypad is great, even has quick office so can quite easily type word documents on it, its a stylish smartphone with loads of cool features, but here are the drawbacks
1) Camera is awful - can't even work out who I've taken a picture off unless its a close up.
2) Video is so jerky it'll give you a headache watching it
3) Slow
4) It crashes at the most annoying times
5) Warning tones cannot be switched off, I've turned them off on every profile but it still beeps all the time!
6) The battery life is appauling. 1 day at best!!! It won't even last a weekend away without making any calls!
I'd expect much better from a company like panasonic.
Sum up - A nokia 6600 with more style but none of the reliability.

i have had my x700 just 2 months, already the battery dont last 2 days on standby, sometimes only lasting 12hours.
next problem is when texting it stops and turns off or tells you to shut down some applications, what are they, when you are texting, and most of the time when texting it puts your message in the drafts folder, why?
i find you have to turn the phone right off then on again so that it enables you to send your texts again, but this only works for a while before it seizes up again.
And panasonic have miss lead people that the small screen on the front shows caller i.d. of a picture of the person thats calling you but its very small a quarter of the actual screen itselfs.
Also when you turn the phone on everytime it takes along while to kinda load up, i thought this was beacause of the mini sd card, but its no different when the card is removed, it still starts slow.
i rate this phone 4 out of ten.

No, Bryan, 24 hours standby time is normal for this phone. You made a mistake, as most people on this forum, as you can see. Just wait till the problems with the spontaneous switching off begin. I had 12 phones, among it a Panasonic before. None was such a waste of money like this dysfunctional one. I will stay with reliable brands in future.

i jus bought it yesterday, the overall function is good, but i dun understand why my batt onli last barely a day. was it that my charging was wrong? but seems like alot pple are facing this too.
anyway, may i ask if its possible to change the 2nd display pic? i saw the manual cover with a different photo, but it seems like i cant find any edit option for the 2nd display(external). any idea anyone?

This phone is the worst phone I have ever owned - and I have had two panasonics previously that were good. This one reboots, locks up, drops signal and has shocking sound quality. It's away being repaired right now but I am not holding my breath. I don't think it is fixable without a faster CPU and updated software. To add to this the hinge is getting loose and the phone is 5 months old. A total piece of crap

i jus bought this phone for 4 days. i feel that its a great phone, except some minor flaws.
1)i dunno y but my batt lasts no longer than a day. i charged it for 9 hrs on the first charge.
2)its a little lag..

That's not true at all. Mine lasts 3-4 days and I don't have the problem- switching itself off. Sorry folks but don't hate!!

What a terrible phone!!! Also mine frequently switches itself off and I can not be reached. Furthermore after the phone was charged the red charge light remains on and I have to reset the phone by taking the battery out. Often it hibernates and again I have to take the battery out. The battery lasts 24 hours, yahoo.
A scam it is, this phone !!!!

Da Phone is da best all around.
two minor issues:
1. battery life
2. slow cpu
some folks reported random reboots as well.
I am lucky with this phone.

i bought this fone a couple dayz ago and it's absolutely cool! its design is great and it has everything a fone should have. well, if it had a better quality of its camera and an mp3 player it would be on top. but it has symbian series 7 and so i can download an mp3 player. that's all folks.
