appriciated man, kelvin, thanks for your help. how u transfer the movie to phone. and izzit when u transfer the file size will auto reduce? or have to reduce the size first? How u transfer? true cable? the thing u told me about upgrade n anti virus i will try soon. thanks again. after upgrade can use FS caller? coz i know now even u install the FS caller is not work... thanks again man,.

e X700, what r the function in the chinese star application? I think is given your phone to support chinese language and view chinese word only in SmS right? If this function is correct that i say, u don't no need to install this application again after u upgrade the ver. , the phone will automatic support chinese word in all original application same like English language, when u go to phone setting-setting- phone-general the phone language will automatic support chinese and english language but u require inform n request the full chinese language for them when u upgrade ver. at panasonic mobile service center.Yes, i is using smart movie player to watch movie on my phone the sreen is great and clearly but the sound on the movie is still small n about install the Anti-virus in your phone is to dodge or avoid any virus in your phone because this phone is run on symbian system same as nokia phone n more safely if install it and can dodge virus such as Cabir. You can find this Anti-virus n get the registered ver. or more application again in http://www.gtwar.com/symbian/prog.htm

Hey kelvin, thanks alot. i really confuse. the phone still need to install Anti viurs!? anyway, after u upgrade your phone ver already have chinese start? i m confuse also. u said after u upgrade u never use chinese star b4. but now your phone got chinese star. so izzit after phone upgrade version your phone automatic include chinese star.. sorry for i ask that again. um.. so now u r using 512mb. that's a good new for me. how about the smart movie player? smooth too when u watch in the phone? thanks again, Kelvin..

For e X700, u can try to install the chinese star application after u upgrade the software on your phone because after i upgrade ver. i never try to use this software again so, i cant give n comform any opinion for u .before u try i suggest you install Anti-virus first as more safely. now i during use the 512mb for mini sd, no any problem for me when use 512mb as my memory. if u still have problem about mini sd card, u can try again after u upgrade the ver.

Hi Kelvin, that's mean just need to upgrade da phone then the chinese star can be stable? izzit the phone can support 256mb also coz of after upgrade? coz i had tried b4. is not work. Ultra Mp3 1.40 version ? ok, thanks. u help me alot Kelvin.

I trying install the Ultra Mp3 in my phone and the version suitable for pan X700 is only ver. 1.22 and the new ver. 1.40, When i install the ver 1.33 n
try to open in my phone is hang( i think this ver. only is for N 7610)n my advise please use the ver.1.22 n 1.40 if you want to use mp3 file,n of course the new ver. 1.40 is better than ver. 1.22 include the skin. n i also try to install the mp3 player n try to open the mp3 file, the soud quality is very loud and bad if compare with Ultra mp3 n i suggest to use Ultra mp3 better u use mp3 player.
In my opinion, all sound format(True tone) such as AMR,RM,MMF,XMF,WAV,MP3,OGG on this phone the better sound quality still is OGG format ,this format is great and good if compare with other format in this phone n also can use to set as ring tone,message tone,alarm tone....etc (if u don't trust u can try to use this format n try to compare with other format).
For e X700, the higher mini sd card in this phone is support 512mb, n 1gb is coming soon, if no any problem i think 1gb is also support. I is already upgrade my phone version n now i got full language for Chinese n English only (this is ready enough for me). If u want get the full chinese language u must go to panasonic service centre n upgrade at here. n please don't install the chinese ver. at the forumhit.com because after i install chinese ver. on forumhit.com my phone language is hang when i create message.(i think this ver. is only suitable for nokia phone).

I m stuck on the phone without Chinese wording. cant work when i install it. and who guys can use this phone with 256mb mini card? i had tried b4 when i get this phone, not work too. inserted the 256mb card then on my phone, just the screen light blinking. but not show anything.. i believe u guys said but izzit can work? i had tried b4... cant. after install MP3 player also hand when i open MP3 software. hope can get more detail from u all...

hello... i've just bought my panasonic x700 recently n i need help in connecting it to my computer. I've tried everything. but the mRouter always says that they're not connected. I followed the instructions carefully but still.... urgh! Help

my problem (and I saw that more posting deal with this) is that the battery won't last 2 days on standby (real standby, so no bluetooth on ,nothing). Worse: like someone wrote wfrom the US and the UK, it won't connect its WAP or PXT to the New Zealand Vodafone network. Vodafone tried it themselves: does not work. My opinion: avoid this phone.

my phone broke. i sent it to panasonic 6 times. three times they repared it and three times they replaced it. it still has faults. now i want my money back but they say i didn't pay anything for it because i got it on contract so they cant give me any money. stay away from panasonic!

i have had my x700 just 2 months, already the battery dont last 2 days on standby, sometimes only lasting 12hours.
next problem is when texting it stops and turns off or tells you to shut down some applications, what are they, when you are texting, and most of the time when texting it puts your message in the drafts folder, why?
i find you have to turn the phone right off then on again so that it enables you to send your texts again, but this only works for a while before it seizes up again.
And panasonic have miss lead people that the small screen on the front shows caller i.d. of a picture of the person thats calling you but its very small a quarter of the actual screen itselfs.
Also when you turn the phone on everytime it takes along while to kinda load up, i thought this was beacause of the mini sd card, but its no different when the card is removed, it still starts slow.
i rate this phone 4 out of ten.

GPRS on the X700 is also not fully (no graphic images) compatible with the T-Mobile network in the uk either so that's Vodafone, O2 and T-Mobile. So that's 3 out of 3. I'm not going to try Orange...

hi, i bought the phone about 2 months ago, but problem is i reformatted the computer n now i cant find the cd for the driver to transfer data over to the computer. can anybody tell me where i could dl the driver or could somebody send me the driver PLEASEEEEEEE??
