panasonic x700 is very good but it doesnt have MP3,3D games,1.3MP camera,262000 colors than 65000 and at the second display 65000 colors than 4096.i really like it but it cant compare some other phones like sony ericsson s700i or nokia 6630

i'm thinking of buying this phone or the Mitsubishi M900...the M900 seems to have better multimedia features, but this has got an awesome look and style as well as Symbian and Bluetooth. can anyone tell me if this phone supports MP3? the offical specs don't mention anything about it. thanks!

Its price is 450 USD. And u can play all JAVA games also symbian games. Great phone.

Panasonic started shipping the phone to several European countries and Taiwan on Dec 1. I believe that most of these shipments are the Vodafone branded X701. As far as use in North America and Canada, it will work where 1900 MHz GSM band is supported, but it will not work for 850 MHz GSM. It is targeted at Europe and China and thus supports 1800 MHz and 900 MHz GSM as well.

@Unknown(3.Dec): The X700 is a Triband-GSM-based phone. If your provider in North-USA/Canada supports GSM you are able to use the X700. If you have a provider with CDMA-support you cannot use the X700.

They say they are "probably" ready to deliver the mobile from 6.Dec.
