Great phone, memory card (mini sd) holds heaps & the the digital VGA camera is OK!!! the video capture is horrible & theres not many camera/video effects my favourite feature was the high senstivity flash works great the camera is nothing compared to the new panasonic VS models. The only main feature this phone doesnt have is an MP3 player or 16 million colours on screen only Becos its old, afterall this is a hi powered smart phone and is good coming from early 2004, also this fone looks beautiful & has a large screen display I RECOMEND IT!!!

I bought this phone at xmas time and have had on going problems.It freezes during typing sms and pressing the 0 button.Also it just randoming freezes and won't turn on at all.
I took it to Optus World and asked if they could check if it was the battery because i read on another forum same thing and the guy had a faulty battery.Optus World said no , the phone has to be sent away the cost $49.95 and i will get that back if they determine that it hasn't been dropped.
Well my friends mum done that and she never dropped her phone but they said it had been dropped and wanted over $200 to fix it.
The phone hasn't been dropped so i am not sure what to do , any one else have a similar problem and solved it?

i just got this fone yesterday and so i've been trying out it's functions... but when i try to open my images gallery it just stays at opening files and it doesnt even allow me to view my images... is there neway of mkaing the files open quicker cos i feel like it'll never open adn just keep saying opening files... and its the same with sound and i mean i just got this fone yesterday so i couldnt hav used up alot of space/memory can anyone tell me what to do so i view my sound and images? other than that its a great fone! Thanks

Having a huge problem sending an E-mail(Pxt) from my fone to my Computer.My Fone keeps saying Check E-mail settings.If anyone has solved this please email or post on this site ASAP as I'm trying to get some Pictures done on my Computer. THANX

I had this phone til I lost it. I never really appreciated it until it was gone... Sure i hated the fact that whenever i dropped it i had to reset it, or the fact that there was never enough memory, or the handset was too big, or the ringtones were gay. But all-in-all, now that i have to find a new phone and i see whats on the market, this phone was pretty good. I just loved how stylish it looked and now cannot find a replacement. BOO to that!

teehee, i got x700 phone yesterday :p cause i dropped my old phone in coke :p really really happy with it, but the only problem is, its too big T-T and the ringotnes are BAD like terrible, not the quality, just the melody n stuff :s anyway happy happy happy :p highly recommended, buh its either my slowness or the phone, cause it loads rele slowly n the functions are kinda hard to use -__-" dun blame me if it me :p

Download and install in X700 "UltraMP3" and than you have MP3 in your phone :)

Well, i'm very pleased with it. For those who want to have a mp3 player, i say that it is not worth it. I have tried to found and i did not succed. instead of mp3 i use .OGC, and a player on my telefon with ogc support and works better than mp3. You will need a mp3 to ogc convertor but it's no problem.
A question I have:
When I flip it, open it, (when i say that i open it not that i power it) is any software that i could set so I could hear sound? Hope you understand me

How do I choose where to instal a certain programme (on the phone or the card)? Some *.sis ask but other don't. What happens when the phone memory is full and you still need to install some software? Does the phone install it on the card automatically?

its a great phone, except when it randomly shus off, nd now doesn't have any sound watsoever. So I can't take calls or hear it ring. Nd he screen is all spotty. Not happy jan
