Overall conclusion:
Starting from where i left previously; if your internet usage is conservative to moderate then you can make best use of the phone; however if you are a heavy user then you may be left complaining abt the phone's battery life.
However having said this; given the fact that its a budget phone one must see the features on a brighter side and think for this price we have got an excellent VFM device!!!

After purchasing this handset i am going to post/share some of my experiences of the phone:
1. The Super AMOLEd screen is absolutely awesome; display is at par with most of the premium phones out in market... The build of the phone is neither too heavy nor light just perfect for a 4.0" phone
2.OS upgrade to ICS was done in 10 min; some notable diffrence is seen in battery performance; however my main reason to upgrade to ics was better app compatibility plus i am used to slide the running tasks/programs to kill it in android :D...
3. Battery performance is good when the device is in 2g mode my phone is able to last for 2 full days without a single charge!!! however when turned on wifi the performance deteriorated with phone hardly lasting a day... 3g makes it even worse with battery lasting for 7-8 hours max... ( i think this is mostly issue with pantech build os given the fact that 2g battery runs flawlessly)
4. The Bundled OS comes with loads of bloated apps from AT&T which is not removable; so rooting is the only option... however there is not a optimised rooted OS for Burst yet released so expect some minor niggles here and there... (btw root at ur own risk!)
5. Performance is slick with dual core processor and 1gb ram at its best!!! no lagging issues of any sort!
6.Very generous of pantech to include 16gb space internally. This combined with my 32gb sd card meets most of the daily storage requirements...
7. Do not expect major upgrades ery soon.. given the fact that ICS has been rolled out recently.. Jelly bean and the next os updates could come pretty late to this

ANYBODY AVAILABLE TO ANSWER BELOW:
Can anybody please tell me the advantages and disadvantages of ICS upgrade. I am using 2.3 on my current mobile(not pantech). Pantech specific differences are welcome.
What are the major differences, if you can tell me the minor ones, it will be helpful too.

look, I don't know how to tell you this. Rather than reading these forums, just go out and buy this. I went to the website and have been uploaded ICS. but you personally, I don't have to. I was perfectly happy with Gingerbread. ICS allows me to long press the home key, and keep in memory on the programs I need on a permanent basis. so I have SKYPE. WATSAP, VIBER, GMAIL, FACEBOOK, as well as MAPS, all running simultaneously. As well as several others, with no slowdown. Not even a hiccup. Go to your local store, our Ebay. Pay your money. Be happy... 1.5 GHz of goodness. 1GB ram.the best 4 inches of Super Amoled. All in a nifty looking, handy container/handset.
