Ive had this phone for over a year, and I love it!! it has a few quirks, but after a reboot, goes back to normal. Sometimes the texting freezes and wont send a message, and occasionally shuts itself off, but nothing that would stop me from keeping this model until it blows up.

I HATE this phone! When I first purchased this phone, it would routinely (numerous times per day) turn off for no reason (battery fully charged). I exchanged the phone. The replacement phone also occasionally turned off for no reason. I thought I could live with this since it occurred infrequently and it seemed like this would be a problem with all phones of this model. Now, six months later, it shuts off several times per day, but I am stuck with it! I am constantly missing calls and messages! Hopefully, I will not miss an emergency call, and it will not have turned off when I need it in an emergency!

I'm having a problem with my Contacts. This is the first problem since I bought this phone (almost a year ago.)
The number of contacts have doubled. Each contact is now appearing twice. I have already checked to be sure that I'm not viewing my contacts from both the phone and SIM.
The only thing I (and the people at the ATT store)know is to manually delete the extra records. Does anyone know a better fix then deleting records one at a time?

captain_d54, 10 Jan 2011how u donload ur pics 2 ur computer from pantech ease phoneFrom the Menu screen choose Pictures. Next, choose the pic you want on your computer, then tap Options. the next screen gives you a chance to Send. Choose Multimedia Mess....
The pic is attached to a Message. Now, tap the box that reads Tap to address. Search for the person to whom you wish to send the picture (in this case yourself, hopefully you have your email addy in your contact record.) When you select your contact record you should see phone numbers and your email addy as the last entry, choose it now. The screen comes back as having a check mark next to your name, tap OK. Now tap Send. Once sent you open your email (on your computer), download the pic and your done!

I have had this phone for almost a year now. I have never had it replaced, and never needed to. Most of my problems have fixed themselves. While on a phone call, the screen goes black and locks so that you don't hit buttons while on the phone. To get the screen back on, turn the phone face up. The screen will go back to normal so that you can hang up. Also, it is very sturdy. I'm clumsy and I have dropped it many times and even got unlucky in a storm on a boat and it got wet, and it is still working just fine. The battery life suits me. If you use it all day long, yeah it will only last about 8 hours. But it was on two bars and i left it on all night and didn't touch it until noon and the battery hadn't moved. Oh, and if the phone will not send messages, then make a call, just let the call ring once and hang up. I guess the phone has to re-establish connection sometimes. My girlfriend and I do it all of the time because all pantechs seem to have that problem, either that or it IS AT&T. The only two things I have had with the phone is when I put the phone on speaker, nobody can hear me but I can hear them loud and clear. I don't know where the speaker mic is on the phone. And this next one may be from me dropping it so much, but when i slide the screen, it won't load so I have to slide it back and forth until it loads the right screen and lets me see what I'm doing.

When I was looking into this phone, I could not find a very helpful review, so now that I have the phone, I'll leave a review so somebody else isn't in my situation!
Overall, the Pantech Ease is a very nice and sturdy phone. I am crazy about texting and probably send/receive 500+ texts a day. I used to have a Palm Centro (my pride and joy) so I wanted a phone with lots of text storage and features.
Well, the Pantech Ease is pretty close to what I wanted. Though, there are a few bugs with texting; sometimes when I click send nothing happens, and I have to re-enter the recipient..it's weird. To solve this, I can also erase some messages, that seems to work. I wish it held more messages, but the conversational text-mode makes my life easy.
As for features, the camera is pretty decent for a cellphone. All the games require internet..lame.
The touch screen is pretty accurate and responsive. I have not had much trouble there. A few times I will accidentally press on something, but that's my own clumsiness, not the phones.
The phone does seem to dent and scratch fairly easily, so I bought a cheap case off Amazon, works like a charm.
Overall, good phone. not the best, but I would recommend it. It is very user friendly and simple but it has some pretty cool features.
Well done Pantech.

Iv had my phone for two months now first the good things I like: the slider motion is very smooth and solid, easy\advanced modes for your convenience, display is large enough to see even without my glasses. Now for the less desirable features: Bloteware takes more than 10meg of space, touch screen is non responsive and I can't find a stylus for it, speaker is very hard to hear and headphones don't help, when the phone is on but not in use the battery only lasts 8-10hours (wake up go to work get home plug it in or hear the battery low beep).
