Hi. Does anyone owning this phone can tell me whether this phone features answering calls as soon as it flips open? In other words, does it have the 'active folder' feature? Please email me.

I am using pantech G500, a hotlink user, but i wonder why the MMS feature cannot be activated. Have went to the phone shop to ask for help to activate it, but i was inform that the phone model is not included in hotlink MMS services? can anyone help me? help!

I am from Bangladesh(Zone +6) and using Pantech G500 for the last one year and truely this is a marvellous piece but the Date & Time function is not working and unfortunately there is no customer support available .Please help me...

I am from India and using Pantech G500 for the last one year and truely this is a marvellous piece but i have a bit problem in its software ithink the software of alarm & clock is not working and unfortunately there is no customer support available in India better if i got the solution now anyway the whole sole story its good GSM phone

That's explained everythings. Been 1 year using this phone. Quite ok. design is marvelous, compact, lite & extremely stylish. The keypad not really torned off.
but the feature need to be upgraded. i dont want to trade-in coz the design is ok.luv it so much.
bluetooth n infra would be delightful.
I'm very simple person,just the phone cant send business card like nokia instead.
The SMS cant be trace back after sent.
the stop watch is kelakar... funny compare to others.
til now have no time to use the composer for ringtones. just convert the midi song to mmf (ye ke..lupe la) format by saving the files in your pc.
the camera okla... technology keep changing now day. nak canggih beli digital cam!
what the market value now? I dont see this model anymore in market. obselete ke?
happy to see many people use it all around world.

Yes chinese characters are supported if desired. No u cannot download more languages like French, the phone does not support additional languages. There is no BT or IRDA on this phone and to get files on and off your comp you have to have a link cable. Once you have a link cable plug it into the phone and the computer via a serial port then install the phones software which can be found on the pantech website then, once in the software application, click the browser icon at the top left somewhere to enter the browser which acts as means to transfering ringtones and pictures. If you upload a picture to the phone it will be stored in the downloads directory of the phone. Unfortunately, you cannot get a picture from the downloads directory as your wallpaper for the main or sub screens, only pictures captured using the camera can act as wallpapers for the screen.

Hi, how do i connect the pc to the hp via cable . I have plugged in the cable to the pc connecting to the hp. But apparently, the pc does not seems to detect the hp. Is there any ways to do it?
