I also have this phone and been trying to find out of a way to make its 3g service working and they suggest rooting which I don't want to.But I happened to find a solution for it without rooting,won't take 5 minutes of your time,check this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tweakker&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS50d2Vha2tlciJd so easy!I am not the creator of this apps,I don't know how to,I just want to help you guys who are also a big fan of Vega phones!Try it!

I attempt to use it on my own but then realizing that it would give me more problem and give total defect on my phone I stopped it. yeah, I can forward to you the number of the technician. As per the person I used to talked here his phone is fine and he is enjoying long msgs and 3g.

Until now my unit is unfix since I dont have a budget yet. I have a contact person that knows how to root and customize the unit.

jay, 06 Mar 2013download go sms pro via playstore then u can use 160 charac... moreim actually using go sms, handcent etc.. but still unable to send long msgs.. one of the users here advised to have it rooted. im afraid it may affect the performance of the unit,. @jay did u rooted yours?
