Hi everyone' im from Pakistan' having a strange problem which i haven't seen here' my phone stucks on the dialing screen when im making a call, it happens after every one to two days, n i have to restart again to make a call, if in this condition i press dial again phone says "call not sent" also i have tried 4 different phones from different people but all of them stucks on dial sometimes. Anyone would like to help me on this...?

Yes, its working on gsm, I am using this mobile in Pakistan using a sim having gsm network. Its a great phone. To fix the sms problem or if u want to root this set just follow the steps given on http://shantonusarker.blogspot.com/2012/10/android-hacks-rooting-pantech-sky-vega.html

Im so sorry guys, but according to VEGA ics update will not solve the sms problem,
"VEGA
Message after 80 character is MMS, you can send MMS only the 3G.
And must only use Korea mobile carrier. Sorry." thats their reply to my question if they will resolve the 80 sms character issue during ics update.. so lets help each other to resolve the issue by our selves

im from philipines..just had this phone for a week now..its close to perfect phone..except for the annoying 80sms issue.. already rooted my phone but cant get nowhere on fixing the sms issue..pls if anyone knows reply...

im from pakistan. recently purchased the set. perfect phone. but prob is the same. no gprs connection. any one who knows the solutiomn plz help. also when is the updation to ics 4.0.4 coming on this set?

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2012It's from Korea. :DPhilippines. it's all good now. just have to use SETDNS application when connecting via WiFi. My only problem now is the GPRS. The recent update removed the SKY Backup application which is used to enable GPRS with the zip below.
