Hi, I just bought a 355. Its awesome. The picture quality is very very good. Other features remain unchanged from that of 350, only GIF files are supported in 355. The sound level for ringtones is a bit low for a country like India and one has to put on the vibrator mode while travelling in crowded buses, metros etc. Think of the price-benefit ratio....anyone can do without a high sound (noise!) level. Kudos to the new version at the given price tag.

Just new to this site n wanna buy a phone with camera tomorrow. Is it possible for a Philips phone to send a picture/MMS to Nokia, Sony-Ericsson and other??Do the photo/clip etc appeared like we want it to be??

Does anyone know any good philips mobile/cellular forums? I've tried google and i can't see to find any. All i get is semiconductors. bah.
Are the philips phones fast? We have a java game called Mayhem's Magic Dust we are trying to port to the 355 (and other handsets) and want a speed test run on a handset to find out how good the phones are.

I've had this phone for about 4 weeks now (on Virign in the UK) and it's great. Contrary to the above post, the battery seems to last very well for me. I think that it needs several full charges before the battery is fully working as my first 1-2 weeks it was draining faster than i expected. I find the menu system easy to use and logical and call quality seems to be fine. This is the first phone i've had which has a useful calendar and reminder functions and the ability to add text notes (like postal addresses) to phone book entries is very useful. For 70 UK pounds (unlocked) i think this phone is great value for money and i am very pleased i chose it over more expensive models.

Does it actually tell u when it's sending 2messages, it's never happened to me?

battery drains like a bugger ...had it a week and it only lasts 2 days at most..and the annoying ...its gonna send 2 texts..which even when u reduce the amount of words..does not go away

It's a fantastic little phone, but I get annoyed when I write a relatavely small text message, it tells me it's sending it as two messages!

Those Symbols are for Alarm, Vibrator, Wap Mail, etc ., you will find it there in the manual. Hope this solves your problem. Enjoy!!

hi guys,
i ought this one just yeterday and i can say that i am really amazed by its features. the display is really great and the camera quality is quite good. the menu is different but not tough although nokia users might take some time getting used to it.and for its price it's a real steal and offers high value for money. the only hitch is that data cable isn't included in the standard package. i would suggest you to get this little beauty.

this phones great but is ther an usb cable for it ? it mentions it in the manual but i cant find one anywhere ?!
