Still has this phone, the battery is low now and without connecting the cord, it not working now. I bought this in 3Q 2004 for 200 dollars. Still if there is any chance for replacing the old battery with a new one, then I prefer to use this old friend.

It was my first cellphone(robbed by kids in 2005)...,the AD on TV and its touchscreen is awesome，but I couldn't find it now...

For the people complaining about an electric shock (by answering a call while recharging)....EVER TRIED USING SPEAKERPHONE!?! OR PULL THE DAMN CORD OUT FOR A MINUTE!!! is that so hard? stop whining and get smart!
The touchscreen is awesome, it wouldn't surprise me if they were the first with something like this in such a handy size!
The software to communicate with the computer however is below standard and not logical to use.
Another weird thing is that the phone seems to rate selfmade photos and/or soundrecordings as classified and unable to send...??
I wouldn't worry about the keypad-texting.. that is why you have the touchscreen keyboard.. it is quicker than most people can text I'd say.

i have one dilema with this...why can't i sed or recive photos or mid's trough irda port with
a sagem myx6-2...they should be compatible couse 755 is with my x6...has anyone got an ideea?

After using this set, I've decided not to purchase philips set any more, though they have some good sets now. Once I used philips diga and that had given me better service than 755.
755 bad features:
# Poor sound quality (when headphone not used)
# Poor ring tone sound (cant hear in bus even using full volume)
# It will hang if U use WAP
# Bad keypad, hard to use, after 3 month use I got 3 button not working
# Most provider not supporting GPRS setting for this set
Still Im using 755 because of its touch screen, not suggesting other to purchase it

No service. They say model outdated after 3 months in the service center. Can anyone say where this old phone can be given for kids as toy.

my sis has this phone,, the first time she bought it (about 2 years ago), i thought it's kinda cool with the touchscreen... Well,, i almost buy this phone,, luckily i'm not... actually this phone is not a bad phone,, the touchscreen is great but the most awful part is the keypad.. veeery hard to press, now my sis never use the keypad anymore,, always use the touchscreen.. Well,, for those who wants to buy this phone,, u better research more,, with the same price, u can get more with some other phone, but if u really like it,, it's a nice phone though... It has some cool feature with it's touchscreen...

the taggin nd touch screen stuffs are cool but the keypad is sooooo awful...u almost miss a call tryin to receive it:S

...eer one of the worst phone I have ever used. I feel there is no need to make phones If it dosnt worth a cent...simply getting us spending on worthless model 755, which dosnt work properly, Infra Red is so poor, and most of all the electric shock thing is nasty. So I guess one thing for Philips is DONT MAKE MOBILE PHONES AND WASTE UR TIME. U guys dont know anything about the mobiles that are serving satisfaction to the customer...

dis iz a great phone ,...only problem is it heats up badly and bad battery back up!!!

Your phone looks great.Just one problem using it,the keypad is too flat that its hard to use the keypad in texting.Also, the camera is not that clear and transferring pictures to a computer through the infrared is difficult.

its a very nice phone plus it has a very unexspected features but i would like to know more about what i read that it has a optional output where i can view my picture that i saved in the phone to be projected on tv.

i brought this phone since december 2005. Guess what? After using it for 2 days, during i was charging the phone, and there was an incoming call, so i answered. the moment i place the phone next to my face, i can feel there is electric shock on the screen that react on my face. So without hesitation, I send it back to the shop. The shop dealer at first do not trust until he feels the electric shock. After repairing for 1 month, finally i got back my phone. Again it happen when i charge the phone and place the phone on the hearing position and being electric shocked. I went back to the shop to complain on this and i insist of a one-to-one replacement of the phone. but he says he was unable to do so, the most that he can help is only 50% refund. Therefore i choose to send the phone for the second time for repairing cause it will be a big loss if i choose the 50% refund. I did ask the phone dealer what issue on my phone? he replied there is some short circuitry in the phone. After getting backk and using it for 4 months, it happens again, electric shock when charging and answering the phone at the same time. I feel like throwing the phone on the floor. Is just that i am poor and only afford to purchase an econimic phone. Now i am seeking for new phone and wanna trade in this lousy phone as soon as possible. Guess wat not only that, the scroll button also missing. it drops of easily and now i am using the scroll by pushing one black joystick using my finger, and it hurts!
Therefore, never buy Philips phone.
