Is it a good phone?Can i play MPEG4 video file on this phone? Please answer me. Except the bluetooth limitation it is so smart. i wanna buy it.Be good?

hi, i just bought this phone. its great. but how on earth i can send and receive over 300kb datas by bluetooth?
And my mpeg4 formated movies always hangs.
I heard formatting the Mini-sd into fat16 would solve the thing. is it true?
Please help me.
oh, and inserting java app. or games, its easy. i simply dragged the JAR file to the mobile, and install them from the mobile.

To Alek's:
It's better for battery not to be charged with the USB-cable.
If it's charged with the USB-cable, the battery will have lower life!
Moreover, the charger is quite light and small enough to carry in a briefcase/handbag.

looking firs class but bad baterry life and low ringing. answer: No mike you can't. but you can use this phone like usb memory (dont need driver cd)

I think Philips is begining to evolve it self as it starts to sell new and more functinal cell phones but i hope they can be more competitive with there products like other TOP brands of cell phones.

i used xenium9@9+ and 530 before. now i dunno which one to buy, 768 or 960. any suggestion?
1. can u use this phone's camera as a webcam camera too?
2. i'm a macintosh user... is it compatible with mac?

Hi all!
I saw it, felt it, touched it...
Really beautiful and smart set. I am from Ukraine we have in store sirtified phone for my country with cyrilic letters on buttons.
So lets start with what I found:
first attraction my eye catched display. It is large with many info to read+ no problem to look with direct sun rays on it.
After taking in hand you feel like fragile thing you got, and treat it respectly.
I also twisted it :) to check the abcense of cracking: perfect!!!
The most powerful point as for me was buttons and jostik. All made like ingraving with ability to pevent unintendant useing. Just need time to adjust your fingers (men with huge tips of fingers and ladies with long nails will fail to operate without problem).
Back side with camera and flash well designed. Te cover for battery not reliable at the first glance(very big minus from y side). Simple flexible cheap plastic...Judge this as you wish...
Next: i was really amazed th etype of menu Philips presented, in calm colors with simple icons but they look not agressive as NOKIA for example has. Inside menu a bunch of usseful functions to generate.
Sound: unfortunately could not listen mp3 player, but polifony CRYSTAL...
Camera: did not see picuters and video at PC but on phone it's worth to pay attention to 768 as coptable recorder. Quick reaction of matrix on changing colors in dark or sunny place. ONE THING upset me(but may be i was wrong) the left button to activate camera very sensitive for a touch. You just touched it and camera in use(during manipulatin it's not convinient in my opinion).
The set has 128Mb (in Ukraine), USB cable, phones set(very smart)...
Conclusion: 768 desers to be rated as competitor in see of other brands. I like it and planned to buy( price is 280USD).
Hope Philips SHOULD start its programme yearly to evaluate strategy...

how about the bluetooth & infrared,can it send large files(such as 4 mb mp3 files)?coz from what i read in the manual that i found from the official website,it can only send 350 KB files!can someone try to send large files?

Listening volume is not high, cannot hear at loud place
no background mp3 playing (i.e cannot do anything, even looking what time it is, but of course can receive phone call)
cannot use slow mini-sd card (my sandisk)
mp3 filename length limited by 40 charachers(i think), cannot see long filename files
S75!! I think S75 is much much better and more advanced. (Its cheaper than s75 but expensive than cx75)
cid video and unlimited, heavy compressed but fine for phone.
But i still think its a fine phone

does it have radio?
can it record video depend on remain memory(not limited)?
can someone compare it with Siemens S75?
i'm a Siemens user and i'm considering to change to one of these phones!

anyone has this phone can tell me how is the listening volume? compare to samsung?
cuz from my experience, the volume of the motorola mpx 220 is extremly low, had to stick it in my ear, and still can't hear anything.( not sure with other motorola mobile)
The listening volume of samsung is loud enough that I don't need speaker phone when i am alone in my room, which I like it a lot.
So can anyone tell me about the volume? thank you.

It already released in Indonesia. I saw it yesterday at Philips Center in Roxy Mas Jakarta. Price: IDR 2.500.000 (around USD 267,00)including USB data cable and 256 Mb memory SD. It looks very beautiful with metal housing. The only disadavntage(according to the sales girl) is that the battery drains very fast. Actual standby time only 2 days max.

after format the pqi 128, it can be detected now and mp3 playing seems fine on this card?!
mp3 file name cannot be too long.
too bad no a2dp..
