it looks more a blast from the past...u know. a carbon copy of one of those early palm pilot and this time, they just add a phone chip to make it a phone. probably a high tech version of a beeper. but instead of an operator, an automated voice machine will answer you. talk about cool...in the 1990's.

With salaries of 150 to 300 euro / month there are many potential buyers in China for this phone. it is very simple but many people can not afford more expensive phones. It is a good commercial move from Philips for China and it will sell well.

low end phone for local Chinese market, no worry will not be sold outside China. if you want a good Philips go for X830 or dual sim X806
