All made by CEC. China Electronics Company, who bought the whole Philips Mobile Phones business. The "Xenium" brand, which is associated with long-battery life, is transferred to CEC under the terms of the agreement. CEC has received an exclusive license to market and sell mobile phones under the Philips brand for the coming five years.

interesting design, seems it has good battery life, but 1 thing is missing.. Wi-fi..
It can make a big different when available for such design..

Why compare this to the likes of BlackBerry which are executive phones?? even BlackBerrys have their faults (nasty desgin, Crap Batt life)

I'm going to guess that Phillips planned this NOT TO BE JUST THAT, In my opinion I reckon they are designing a phone with ease of use in mind, So don't blast Phillips they have been and always will be a reliable company.

Philips, why don't you guys release a quadband blackberry connect xenium fone instead releasing this PDA-wannabe? I'm very interested to buying one of those blackberry xenium (if any).

hope this phone was a real revolution of s900 .is ok for the 76 x 220 screen. if replace with 320 x 240 or other high quality screen , this xenium hp can't stand for 40 days .

I think this is not a pda phone but a xenium 9@9 modern evolution.

PDA Phones should have a Minimum of 640 by 480 pixel display and the input keypad should be a slide out model with a virtual touch screen option as well for when you dont have space for pulling out the keypad.

If this phone is sold cheap then it will sell but hey its not an iphone or a pc phone.

No, I have to agree with the earlier post.... Its a nice design, nice idea, but in a world where QVGA screens are standard and smartphones are beginning to take over everyday use phones, something as simple as this simply will not get very far. Although the multilanguage support will probably boost it up to be a nice short-lived design.
