Pixel 4 pricing and cases, Nest Home Mini, and PixelBook Go all leak before tomorrow’s event

Enrique, 14 October 2019

This must have been one of the worst years to be surprised by a Google event. The Pixel 4 has widely leaked, leaving nothing to the imagination in the handsets’ design. Earlier today, within 24 hours of the event, the Pixel’s fabric cases leak, renders of the Nest Home Mini also leak, revealing an identical design to the Google Home Mini, and even a render of the PixelBook Go leaked, though we still don’t know much about it.

Let’s start with something else that leaked today through a source cited by Droid Life, the Pixel 4’s pricing. The smaller Pixel 4 is said to have the same asking prices as last year’s Pixel 3: $799. The Pixel 4 XL is said to start at $899.

Next up, renders of the Pixel 4’s fabric cases have also leaked in three different colors. The fabric gets a new wave-pattern and two of the cases have blue and orange accent colors and are nicely matched with the white and orange models, respectively.

Then there’s the Nest Home Mini. Google is expected to announce a successor to the Google Home Mini and today’s leaks from WinFuture show the hardware looks identical to the Google Home Mini, only it comes with a hole on the underside to hang it up on a wall.

The report also claims that a 15-Watt adapter is included with the Nest Home Mini, hopefully reflective of updates to the speaker – which has been surpassed with the latest-generation of the Amazon Echo Dot in audio quality and loudness.

Amidst the lifestyle photos of the Nest Home Mini, the PixelBook Go made an unexpected appearance. Google was rumored to announce the device, but we still don’t know too much about it. We anticipate it will be a 13-inch laptop running Chrome OS, but we’re not sure if the “Go” branding would mean a more reasonably lower price.

We really hope that Google is having a “One more thing” at tomorrow’s event, because by this point, we’re almost sure that there’s no thing left to surprise us.

Agree, Pixel phones DID rule the SINGLE CAMERA SETUP photography but you just can not zoom in or zoom out with a single camera (zoom in is possible but the cost is quality loss). Pixel phones COULD NOT AND CAN NOT capture wide angle photos, and only ...
