Plex arrives on Sonos in beta form

If you're a fan of media streaming service Plex as well as speaker company Sonos, you'll be glad to know that you can now access your Plex files directly through the Sonos app, allowing you to play your music collection on any of the speaker company's devices.

"The other super cool thing is that you’ll be able to access your Plex library from a remote Sonos device," Plex said in a blog post. "This means if you’ve painstakingly ripped your entire vinyl collection to lossless FLAC, you’ll be able to stream it to your Sonos-equipped cabin in the woods while you craft your luddite manifestos!"

What's worth mentioning here is that Plex for Sonos is currently in beta (meaning there may be some minor glitches), and available in the Sonos Labs section of the app. For set-up details, head to the Source links below.
