Poco F5 in for review

The Poco F-series from Xiaomi holds a legendary place among Android flagship-killers and the Poco F5 is the latest entry in the lineup and at our office. We’ll be taking a quick look at the newly launched phone ahead of our in-depth review. We're also covering the Poco F5 Pro in a similar in-for-review article and you can check both phones out in our latest video.

Our review unit dons the frosty white color which has hints of blue scattered around the back. The 64MP main and 8MP ultrawide cams are structured in glossy plastic ring cutouts which are a nice touch. The phone feature flat sides and a flat 6.67-inch AMOLED display with uniform bezels and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The in-box contents include a 67W charging adapter, USB-C cable and a clear plastic case. Going through the spec sheet, Poco F5 brings the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset alongside 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone also boasts a headphone jack, dual speakers, an IR blaster and IP53 splashproof protection. The software front is covered by MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
