Poco F8 Pro review
Design and build
The Poco F8 Pro's design is a noticeable departure from the previous model. It now adopts a more blocky and flat appearance, with the camera bump consisting of a flat, reflective glass.
The back, front and side edges are also completely flat, but that doesn't mean the edges are sharp. Quite the opposite. The side frame feels very smooth and seamlessly transitions into the front and back glass panels.
Speaking of, the display is protected by a Gorilla Glass 7i protective sheet, while the matte back panel is made of regular glass. The side frame is made of aluminum. When it comes to ingress protection, it's still IP68.
The available colors are Black, Blue and Titanium Silver. We have the Titanium Silver for review, and it doesn't attract fingerprints and smudges. Surprisingly, it's also not as slippery.
The smaller screen, sitting at 6.59", makes the phone more manageable, and the fingerprint reader is conveniently placed. Speaking of, it's of the ultrasonic kind, and it's fast, reliable and accurate. We had no issues with it.
The power key and the volume rocker are also conveniently placed on the right side of the frame, while the bottom houses the dual-SIM card slot. Additionally, the phone supports eSIM, but only two SIMs can be active simultaneously.
There's also an IR blaster, but it's tucked away inside the LED flash ring next to the cameras.
All in all, we liked the design more than last year's. It's clean, simple and even trendy. Xiaomi also didn't cut any corners when it comes to build quality, as it uses glass and metal for the chassis.

Why do you think that the chipset is the only thing that makes the phone a phone? Xiaomi is notoriously poor at providing customer support and sensible updates. I still can't comprehend why Hyper OS doesn't allow you to make customizations ...

Best comment on this whole page. I like the smoking copium part and the fact that poco beats pixel in direct comparison.
