Polestar's smartphone appears on TENAA

Polestar is a Chinese EV maker owned by Geely, the same company that owns Meizu as well. Notably, Volvo had 48% of Polestar's shares up until recently but pulled out ahead of the Polestar 4 launch.

The Polestar phone on TENAA

And just in time for the Polestar 4 release, the company also plans to introduce a smartphone that would go hand in hand with the upcoming EV. A recent TENAA listing reveals almost everything there is to know about the Polestar smartphone.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Polestar phone seems like a rebranded Meizu 21 Pro. The Design and specs are identical too. The only difference is the Polestar logo on the back. Despite its close resemblance, however, the Polestar phone might offer some additional features related to Polestar's vehicles.

We wonder if this is just a one-time thing or Polestar plans to continue this lineup given that Meizu exited the smartphone business to pursue advancements in the AI field.

Your conclusion could be applied to literally every product... AFAIK, the company was founded in Sweden and appears to be Swedish. What goes behind the scenes, well that's a separate story.
