Porsche Design BlackBerry P'9982 appears in a hands-on video

11 November, 2013

The last Porsche Designed smartphone we saw a was the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981 and that was way back in 2011. A new handset from the lineup has been rumored for quite some time but we are yet to get the official announcement. Yet here's a hand-on video that lifts the curtain on the next Porsche designed BlackBerry smartphone a little bit.

BlackBerry Porsche P'9982's internals are identical to the company's former flagship - BlackBerry Z10. The upcoming luxury smartphone will be powered by the BB 10 OS.

The Porsche P'9982 will have a premium finish and the device will feature a leather battery cover. However, according to the leaked video, nothing seems to have changed in the software department and it looks like the Porsche P'9982 will retain the regular flavor of the BB OS.

Porsche designed BlackBerry P'9982 is expected to be officially announced by the end of the year and the smartphone is said to cost just over $2000.

Thanks MasterStar, for sending this in!
