O+ made an air shuffle in their 8.12 Android.

Prestigio's hardware is rumored to be made by archos. and also it was originally using 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich in late 2012 then to be upgraded to 4.1 Jellybean, even upgrading their multiphone 4500 duo stocks with 4.1 jellybean in 2013, removing the red lockscreen theme entirely.

prestigio, using the very common chinese housing, compatible battery, motherboard and (maybe) the specs just like my O+ 8.12 Android. and yeah has so many bloatwares in it just as expected for a prestigio-branded device.

it seem decent by overall btw, im glad prestigio upgraded it to jellybean while O+ uses ICS then made an jellybean update but what to expect for an old budget smartphone?

the upsides is that the motherboard of this very common phone design is rather nice as the buttons isn't soldered into place and it just connected by a metal piece that is also used in the antenna and it acts as a spring to firmly connects into place, and also the autofocus.
the downside is the bottom ribbon connector goes around the battery compartment is being tightly packed in a sticker which you will mistaken it and unplugged it in accident without ever noticing, so the speakers won't work unless you carefully plug it in again. but the good thing is the ribbon connectors is almost using a lego-like connectors.

      anyways a decent phone.

I bought Prestigio Multiphone 4500 Duo two years ago.
        In short - benefits are:
        1. good battery life,
        2. good build quality,
        3. interesting design,
        4. quite good speaker with clear sound,
        5. comes with pouch

        Disadvantages:
        1. very bad cameras (rear & front) - on average every fifth photo is acceptable all others are very blurry regardless of adjustments or steady hands,
        2. screen *should* be IPS but it certainly does not look so when compared to HTC or Samsung IPS which are far superior; but it isn't so bad either... just don't expect HTC One X or Samsung Galaxy S3 screen quality
        3. rear plastic is prone to cosmetic "wear" damage
        4. fingerprint smudges are very visible on shiny plastic and screen

This phone only has 512mb available to install apps. It has 2GB internal; however, it also has a silly 512mb partition that's already 200mb+ full of system apps. You'll be moving everything to the SD card and even then you'll have space issues. I've heard you can repartition the phone to regain the space but I'm not sure how safe that is.

Camera is terrible: you'll need to take every picture two or three times because the camera just decides that everything should be blurry. Usually you'll need to use both hands to take a picture since it seems that when you use your thumb to take a picture when you use it one handed is enough to blur the entire photo.

The GPS on this thing is also very slow. My girlfriend has a Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 that gets a signal within 5 seconds. This phone? Maybe 2 to 3 MINUTES. I don't often use GPS myself but it's definitely something to think about.

The good news is that this phone fits in your hand just right (for me, at least) and has a pleasing aesthetic. The screen is also alright and is a good size - it doesn't have a great amount of brightness control, though.

Overall, it's a mediocre phone in every regard. I'd suggest either spending a little bit more to get something much better or to get something cheaper that's worth more for the money.

PS: This phone comes in a black (1.0Ghz processor) and white (1.2Ghz) processor version. I have the black one but have had some experience with the white version. They both appear to be identical - the price is the same, though (in Croatia, anyway), so get whatever version you like more.

In my opinion 540 x 960 pixels, 4.5 inches is not 226 ppi but 245!
