Purported OnePlus 2 image leaks, hints at 5.5" display

28 June, 2015

A purported image of the OnePlus 2 has surfaced online along with some key details about the device’s appearance. The image features a sketch-effect filter and is different from the one we spotted in the company's photography campaign.

OnePlus is certainly going head over heels for the launch of the OnePlus 2 smartphone on July 27 through a Virtual Reality event. The presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2 and USB Type-C have already been confirmed by the company.

OnePlus 2 will purportedly feature metal frame with black matte finish. Its display is rumored to be between 5.5” and 5.7” in size and will sport 1080p resolution. Packing 3GB of RAM, the OnePlus 2 will be offered in 16GB and 64GB storage options.

The leaked photo has been treated with a filter so it is difficult to confirm if it is legitimate. Till we get more clarity, we would count this image as a part of the speculations being spewed around.

I wonder if they'll manage to fit a 5.5" screen in a 5" phone again, like they "did" with the OnePlus One.
